The Climate Vulnerability Monitor in its 2nd Edition reveals how climate change is already holding back global development and the currently insufficient action for tackling the problem has become a leading global cause of death. Harm is most acute for poor and vulnerable groups but no country is spared either the costs of inaction or the benefits of an alternative path.
The report comprised the most comprehensive global assessment of the impact of climate change and the carbon economy at the time of release.
