Meeting of the CVF for the Middle East and North Africa Region

Geneva, Switzerland – 28-29 May 2015

The Climate Vulnerable Forum meeting for the Middle East and North Africa region is taking place in Geneva during 28-29 May 2015. Hosted by the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations at Geneva, together with support from the local United Nations Development Programme office, the 2-day workshop will gather government policy-makers from a wide range of nations. The meeting aims to identify and promote headline climate change policy priorities for vulnerable developing countries of the region. The event is also the last of a series of regional workshops the Climate Vulnerable Forum has been organizing since 2014 to inform its global advocacy and policy efforts ahead of COP21. Previous editions took place in Central America/Caribbean, the South Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa. An edition in Asia will take place next week in Manila.
