Cambodia is a country located in Asia with large areas of rainforest.

Climate Change Policies

Reduce GHG emissions by 27% (in relation to GHG emissions BAU levels (2000)) by 2030 conditional to external support in sectors of energy industries, manufacturing industries, transport, and other.

Adaptation: Priority Actions:

1) Promoting and improving the adaptive capacity of communities, especially through community based adaptation actions, and restoring the natural ecology system to respond to climate change;

2) Implementing management measures for protected areas to adapt to climate change;

3) Strengthening early warning systems and climate information dissemination;

4) Developing and rehabilitating the flood protection dykes for agricultural and urban development + 6 other highlighted priorities.
