With statements from H.E. Benigno Aquino, President of the Philippines, and other leaders the principal Climate Vulnerable Forum event taking place at COP21 builds on 2 years of consultations at regional and global level completed in Philippines on 11 November with The Manila Communique. The historic gathering of leaders of countries highly vulnerable to climate change will adopt the Manila-Paris Declaration as a collective input to the UN Climate Change Conference at Paris. The high-level meeting also confirms a Forum Road Map of future activities, new CVF members and an African country as the Forum’s next Chair. The event also presents the #NowPH campaign of more than one million voices from youth in the Philippines.

The event will be followed by a #1o5C action with partners CARE International and feature poetry from Spoken Word 4 the World at 18:15
